I’m a Clinical Psychologist, writer, speaker and founder of The Travel Psychologist.
Alongside my independent psychology practice, I’ve built a portfolio career that explores the intersection between psychology, travel, wellbeing and human behaviour. I work with organisations, media outlets and audiences who are interested in understanding people more deeply, whether that’s in healthcare, tourism, workplaces or everyday life.
I have worked in independent practice since 2021 and previously spent 12 years working within the NHS. My clinical background is primarily in physical health settings, including cancer, palliative care, plastic surgery and burns services. This experience gave me a deep appreciation of how people adapt to change, cope with uncertainty and rebuild their lives following difficult experiences.
Today, my work extends beyond clinical practice. Through The Travel Psychologist, I write about travel, wellbeing and human behaviour for a growing audience of readers who are curious about the psychological dimensions of travel and everyday life. What began as a personal blog has evolved into a broader platform encompassing writing, speaking, consultancy, media contributions and collaborations with organisations and brands.
My work has been featured by national and international media outlets, and I regularly contribute psychological expertise to conversations about travel, wellbeing, human behaviour and personal growth. I am particularly interested in helping audiences understand how psychology can be applied in creative, practical and unexpected ways.
Whether speaking to healthcare professionals, tourism organisations, businesses or public audiences, my aim is always the same: to translate psychological ideas into conversations that are engaging, relatable and genuinely useful.
